{"id":1777,"date":"2026-05-25T03:24:25","date_gmt":"2026-05-25T03:24:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ccyk.com.co\/?p=1777"},"modified":"2026-05-25T03:54:20","modified_gmt":"2026-05-25T03:54:20","slug":"conectando-a-las-ies-colombianas-con-asia-pacifico-a-traves-de-umap","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ccyk.com.co\/en\/conectando-a-las-ies-colombianas-con-asia-pacifico-a-traves-de-umap\/","title":{"rendered":"Conectando a las IES colombianas con Asia-Pac\u00edfico a trav\u00e9s de UMAP"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> The webinar, organized by <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">ASCUN-RCI<\/span><\/span> and <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">CCYK<\/span><\/span>, brought together higher education institutions to discuss the academic mobility opportunities offered by <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">UMAP<\/span><\/span>, an association founded in 1993 that promotes the mobility of students and university staff throughout the Asia-Pacific region.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"379\" data-end=\"789\">During the session, <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">University of Colima<\/span><\/span>, <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Universidad EIA<\/span><\/span>, and <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Universidad San Buenaventura Cali<\/span><\/span> shared their programs, strategies, and application processes. Representatives from <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">EAFIT University<\/span><\/span> also presented various international cooperation programs and opportunities, including the academic visit from <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Vancouver Community College<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"791\" data-end=\"1069\">Later, Sandra Valencia from <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">University of Manizales<\/span><\/span> presented her exchange experience in Japan and her participation in the Expo, while Javier La\u00edn from <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Universidad Aut\u00f3noma de Occidente<\/span><\/span> shared his testimony about the three-week MEIJO Japan Study Tour program.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1071\" data-end=\"1389\">As a closing message, participants highlighted the importance of constantly reviewing calls for applications and communications, meeting established deadlines, understanding Asia-Pacific culture, fostering collaborative work, and viewing every international experience as a gateway to future cooperation opportunities.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1391\" data-end=\"1613\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">From <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">CCYK<\/span><\/span>, we will continue promoting strategic internationalization through interinstitutional collaboration and the
